Terms of use

These terms of use apply to use of the public website and the protected MagSim workspace. The operator is Johann Mesin, Behlstr. 21, 65366 Geisenheim, Germany.

MagSim is a web-based helper tool for ring core configuration, CAD generation, design management and simple AL and impedance comparisons. The tool supports technical pre-assessment and does not replace independent expert review.

Use is provided without any claim to permanent availability. Functions, calculation logic, user access and operation may be changed, restricted or discontinued.

Generated CAD files, drawings, characteristics and simulation results are non-binding working aids. Before manufacturing, ordering, use or disclosure, all results must be reviewed independently from an expert, technical and safety perspective.

Users may use MagSim only lawfully and must not enter data they are not entitled to use. Registrations must use a reachable email address controlled by the user. Access credentials must be kept confidential. Disruption, misuse, automated mass access or circumvention of security measures is prohibited and may result in account suspension.

Saved designs, jobs, simulations and generated files may be retained for operation. There is no claim to permanent storage or recovery at any time. Important results should be backed up independently outside the tool.

All rights in MagSim, source code, user interface and system logic remain with the operator or the respective rights holders. Users retain their rights in their own expert inputs, but permit their processing, storage and output to the extent required for use of the tool.

Liability for simple negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. This does not apply to injury to life, body or health, intent, gross negligence or mandatory statutory liability.

These terms of use may be adjusted if functions, operation or legal requirements change. Continued use is governed by the version available on the website at the time.
